April 8th – The KM4 has been invited to play a special retirement party that while private … well it’s just a long time respected local St. Louis company. While we’ll of course play at an appropriate volume (it ain’t about us), and spend a lot of the early part of the evening playing our songs from the swing and jazz era, it’s a mix of a crowd age-wise so as the evening progresses we’ll play more of our blues and even rock songs.
May 13th – We’re back playing for KEEN! This is a wonderful nonprofit that helps kids with disabilities get and stay physically active. We’ve played for them a lot through the years (in fact last time we played for them, we helped them raise quite a bit of money). It’ll be at the Si Commons at St. Louis University High.
September 9th – Road Trip! We’re going back to Morthland College in Southern Illinois for a fundraiser. Last year was their first and we went even though it was a bit of a drive – ended up being so worth it. Great people, and we’re honored to be part of their important event this year!
2017 – Pandora’s Cafe
Soon to get its own website, there’s a new group that includes some members of the KM4 and features its sometime singer Tina Hassler: Pandora’s Cafe. The trio does fresh, sometimes jazzy version of singer songwriter hits of the 1960s and 1970s and a little beyond.
July 21 – Special performance at 3rd Degree Glass Factory as part of their “Third Friday” series. This is always a great time (we played it in December but got hit with an ice storm). We understand this will be a special “Wine Fest” and this family event is always a good time. 7-9.
